Neil Lappley is the founder and leads the compensation consulting practice of Lappley & Associates. He has worked as a compensation and human resources consultant for over thirty years and has comprehensive experience in development of compensation delivery programs, including executive compensation, salary management, salesforce compensation, all-employee incentive, board of director pay, market pricing and custom surveys.
He has advised a wide range of clients including manufacturing, industrial, consumer, service, and technology organizations. Clients are both public and private and include for-profit and not-for-profit corporations. He has counseled multinational clients at the corporate and subsidiary levels headquartered in North American and Europe.
Prior to forming Lappley & Associates, Neil was a partner and managing director of the Hay Group’s Chicago office. Previously, he was an internal consultant with Mead Corporation and A.O. Smith. He earned Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Neil has written and spoken extensively to executive, compensation and human resource groups on a variety of compensation topics.
